Default FS: 87 924s, manual, guards/black

Its about that time. Erin graduates in about a week and after that we'll be shopping for a bimmer. Her 924s has been a great car for about four years now, daily driven and autoxed for one season.

Specs $3000 obo -

Guards red, faded slightly but looks good when polished up and waxed but not perfect- its a daily car. Sunroof- works fine.

Black interior is in good shape, looks great when its all vaccumed and clean. Has a sony Cd player and new speakers throughout. Momo prototipo

Miles- has 150k on it off the top of my head, just replaced all belts and rollers within the last 5k miles. Clutch was replaced by PO just before we bought it so it has about 20k on it. There are a couple leaks on the front of the motor and prob a slow ps leak, but i check the fluids frequently and its almost never low.

Manual trans- shifts great, fluid changed to Redline about two years ago.

Suspension- Car has weltmeister 200lb front lowering springs, turbo swaybars 25.5 front and 18mm rear. Drives good but could use stiffer struts/shocks. New alignment a year or two ago.

Wheels- 15x6" phones, tires are in great condition i think they are RE750's- i put new metalmasters on it right after we bought it, but since she's not bad on brakes they are still almost full pads currently. Super blue fluid.

Everything works on the car that i know of besides the a/c. PO pulled the evaporator core off cuz it had a hole in it, i bought another to fix it but never put it on the car. Clutch still engages fine on the pump-last i checked- hood shocks suck but hatch shocks are great. Has a couple little rust bubbles, one above the lisence plate by the lights and one on the ps rear wheel well, very small. Exhaust is great, has been coated in black hi temp spray.

Car runs and drives great, would make a perfect daily car or DE project.
I'll post more pics tonite when i get home, limited pics here at work.

Methinks your OBO will be somewhat lower for a 924S with fluid leakage.

thats why its there... believe me, i could give the car away as we've got our money out of it.

besides, if someone is scared of replacing 50 bucks worth of seals and doesnt buy it, their loss. This car has a couple small leaks but like i said, its never low on fluids so it cant be much. Prob leaks less than my turbo did when i bought it. Personally i would rather buy a well sorted car w/ a small leak than a non-leaking car w/ no other history. Like they say " its a porsche, if its not leaking it must be out of oil"
