OK, any recommended distributors (Blaszak, Autozone-yes or not?), etc. Does Griffith make manual or power only?

Paragon Products has (I believe) new manual racks for sale on their site. So does 944online.com.

I believe Griffith's does only the power ones.

Chalk up another reported success for rebuilding it yourself. I did mine a year ago with no problems so far.

thanks, the one from Paragon is new, in a Porsche box, and I just have ordered it. Some places sell rebuilt ones for more... The kit from 944online is a great deal too.
