Yep, its $68 and they will work with your stock wiring with that setup. That is the same wattage bulbs you are running now but you will be upgrading to the better beam pattern (more useable light) of the E code lenses.

Grab 2 ecode lenses ($30 each) http://www.rennbay.com/sale-hella-co...ses-p-121.html

and 2 60/55w standard bulbs ($4 each) http://www.rennbay.com/hella-halogen...ulb-p-122.html

Man o man am i glad my math skills are still in tip top shape. phew.

i plan on ordering a set tonight for the NA. I will give my brother the lights he has in the car. he will have two sets for his S2. or should i put the lights in the NA into the 951? or should i order two pairs and put one in the 951 so when i leave for the track at dawn the five times a year i DE i am really lighting up the road.

Thanks for all the orders everyone. The sale ends tomorrow "sometime" just to give fair notice. Grab some lights or an antenna for cheap while you can.

Any word of them being involved in accidents?

My parents are convinced that if I had an accident involving a fatality, the authorities would be examining my lights. Not DOT compliant --> my fault. I say an accident that bad would shatter the lights.

I was going to order a pair of e-codes today, but it turns out my PO already put the Hellas in. Chalk up another high-5 and/or beer if I ever see him again.

The whole DOT stance is sketchy at best. Take my '06 S2000 for example. It comes from the factory with HIDs that have just as sharp (if not a sharper) cutoff to the beam as the E codes do, but they are DOT compliant.
I am not saying the E codes would meet the DOT specs if tested today. We may never know this because there is not enough sales volume in the 7" round lenses to justify the costs (Big $$) to get them approved. Because of this, the choice to use them on the street is left to the consumer. Though I have never heard of anyone getting a ticket for E code lenses, they still must leave here with the express "off road use only" understanding. They are great for night racing you know....
