I was put to Shame
There is a guy who just got a turbo at school. Were both stock, and pulling out of school we both got excited. So to sum up and turbo vs a N/a both starting in the middle of second on up through top of third. I believe it was 8 car lenghts. I wanted to cry but still , it was nice to watch. For all those who look down on street racing, there was no one around and we never broke the speed limit, so any one else have experiance with getting destroyed?

no- i did race a kid in a car w/ these ugly stickers down the side the other day. Can you believe ricers are putting DRIVING SCHOOL stickers on their cars? I smoked him, but his old friend in the ps didnt look too happy.

A kid in a Sunfire tried running me from a 55mph roll as I was passing him. I dropped to third, stomped on it and ran it up to about 85...then I rationalized the situation. I put it back in 5th, slowed down to 55mph and let him victoriously pass me.
I am sure that was a proud moment for him. By the grin on his face as he passed me, I believe he felt it was a forfiet.

I love boost...
Not in 3rd/4th gear
I have a 05 SV650S, and my old 951 would run it... Obviously not from a stop though.
'99 blue Suzuki SV650 (amazing how 70hp is so much faster then 200+)

Ah, if you never broke the speed limit, then I suppose the race lasted until the first person reached 25mph, since that's the freakin' speed limit around schools. Yeah, right.
I am sure that even the street racing folks on this board will agree that racing in a school zone is not too swift a thing to do.
Street racing in a school zone? And then saying you only went up to the speed limit? And no one was around? Sure - I can believe you...and I also believe in the tooth fairy.
That was a stupid thing to do. Next time, try a drag race strip, or an autocross course, or a road course.

PS: Flame suit on. Haven't had a good street racing discussion in a while. But this story certainly takes the cake.

[QUOTE=Z-man]Yeah, right. No one was around at the end of the school day.

Swift?!?.....Schoolzone.... Racing..... i do no such thing-
.....sides speed limits with "children" present is usually 15mph. damn that had to be an awesome race- maybe it was in slow motion like the 6million dollar man.
a "swift" thing to do would be trying to pavement ski behind a silverado.
