Default First I've seen of this! Full contact brakes

Uses a 360 degree caliper and pads that cover 80% of the rotor. Cool!

Site is a little slow though.

Something tells me that a 951 w/ those brakes will be severely overbraked.

i dont think it would work well in a track car, too heavy and no cooling

Actually... they have a 911 Turbo as a test car in the Motorola Cup. Saw a bit about it on the Discovery Channel and the show How It's Made. Car raced in the series and did well. Trying to find it.

Heavy duty applications are what they are producing.

there is nothing new there.. it is just a brute force approach. I have seen racecars with twin caliper setups. It actually did very little if anything to improve braking, and ruined the cooling of the brakes.

Part of their concept is that the rotors won't heat as much due to the larger friction surface and less required clamping force.
