Tire question..
Seeing as how I don't know much about tires....I was just wondering....which out of these three tires would be best for mostly street use, some track, very little autocross...Falken Ziex ZE-512, BFGoodrich g-Force Sport, Kumho ECSTA Supra 712. They can all be had for about the same price, and aside from Fuzion, these seem to be the tires I always hear about. So, which would be best?

I have heard some good things about the Falken Ziex. I have had great experience with other Falken tires (Azenis ST-115, not on a p-car) and horrible experience with the Ecsta Supra 512 (not on p-car). The Ecsta supra 512 is absolute crap. Wears poorly, sticks poorly, bad in water.

i just got some michelin pilot sports and they replaced some conti sports contacts, which were extremely noisy.
they had good ratings for wearability, water, dry and noise.
i've had a lot of michelins over the years on vaious cars and i don't drive anywhere near the limits of the car but figure i got a pretty good bang for the buck.

Stay away from the KUMHO's I hated mine with a passion. My friend has G-force KDW 2s on his Z and I absolutely love them. I have Yoko AVS ES 100s and they are Ok.

i had the 512's on my old supra.
marginal in the dry. wet? well, i hope you're a drifting fan.
in a 951, do yourself a favor, and grab a set of FK-451's and dont look back.
or fuzions. from what i've heard, people swear by them, so i might have to try a set next time around....

I have ES 100s and sort of like them. They are EXTREMELY LOUD, to the point where it sounds like I have a bad bearing. I know I don't because with my phone dials there is no noise at all. They have good grip wet and dry. They don't deliver the best steering fell either. But for the money a good tire.

I would look into the Sumitomo HTRZ2 tires. They are excellent tires for the money. Quiet ride, good handling, pretty good wear.
I usually don't like Kumho tires unless it is their R compound race tires. My buddy picked up a set of Kumho SPT for his Matrix and I drove the car and it felt very good.
The ES100's are pretty good for the money but are very loud as they start wearing.

I let my money do the talking with the g Force Sport. Just finished mounting them a couple of days ago. It's too early to say how good they are - but so far - so good. Will know more after 944Fest and a few dozen laps of Nelson Ledges.
Took off Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Positions. They were excellent tires. Good grip wet or dry. Just a little pricey and wear was not great. Hope to improve in these two areas with the BFGs while giving up a little grip.

I've run 3 of the tires you mention. Here's my opinion FWIW.
Kumho Ecsta 712: Run Forrest Run, absolutely crappy tire, flat spotting, noisy, and poor fry grip
Yoko ES 100: Excellent dry grip, good wet, very noisy after 5K and wore out much too fast in normal street driving. I only got 8K on them before the wear indicators were getting near.
Fuzions ZRi: Excellent dry and wet grip, predictable breakaway, wearing very well @ 8K miles, much quieter than the above choices, some tramlining in larger size fronts (255/40-17), all around good street tire at 20% less than the ES 100. I've bought another set for the Q45 (245/45-16) and am still very impressed for the price.
There I feel better now.

Those falken 615s come in 225/50/16 now (reportedly) for about $108 ea. 225/50 on all corners is not bad at all. I'd also be tempted to try Hankook R-S2 Z212, one of the few newer tires to come in 225/50 and 245/45 16, $90 and $110 or so at discounttiredirect. Of course you can't go wrong with Bridgestones, the RE750s look good for a lower priced Bridgestone http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Sizes....=Potenza+RE750 .
I've auto-xed quite a bit on the Bridgestone S03s, those are great, especially in rain. From personal experience, I'd avoid Yoks for wet conditions (other than the 032R, -those are sweet in rain).
