Drain the oil and let it drain for a long period of time. I let mine sit for 2 weeks with the oil plug off until I put the seals in. No harm done.

*edit- mine didn't leak into the oil, the oil got into the coolant.

Drain everthing now to prevent any corrosion and fill the crank back up w/t cheap dino oil untill you have to time fix everything, wouldnt really want that stuff just sitting in thier for a exstended period of time.

i would do a compression test to see if the hg is blown. STill could be blown and show good compression though. Drain the oil, toss the filter-replace. Run a bunch of cheapo oil in there and then start, shut down and redrain. Some places will do an oil/ engine flush- the basically just run alot of oil through your motor to flush the crap out. Then start it and see if it immediately pressurizes your coolant system. If so - HG- if not i would try the oil cooler seals first.

This happened to me a while back also. See my old post, and the replies I got. ESPECIALLY, Danno's reply and suggestion. I did this, it worked great, and its still going strong. Good luck.

I would recommend pulling the head to clean out the coolant passages around the cylinders. Rod bearings may need to be redone now too.
