Default Need new brake pads

Well so far, I have seen nothing at all about this car to be like any other car I know of. I would usually just go out and buy some pads that I thought might work and slap um on.

But I figured since it's a porsche I'll ask people who have owned them for more than a month and a half.

Which ones should I get? It is a daily driver so I dont need brakes that would stop the Titanic or anything, but I am not really concerned about saving money on the ability to stop.

So Just recommend away!

Thanks for the help!

When not at the track, I run semi-metallic pads from the local auto parts store. You'll likely find Beck-Arnley or another common name. Not a problem. I find prices from $20 to $60. More is (usually) better.

I am about to order a set of Pagid Blue brakes
$60 per set from 944online.com Now this is for 4 pads right? not 2?
I need to order 2 sets for all 4 wheels right? Because it doesnt specify.

They wont squeal will they?

I think they are usually sold per axle, meaning 4 per box.

You know you could try contacting the vendor and asking.

One axle (4 pads) per box.

There's a direct correlation between squealing and stopping power. Not sure about the Pagid Blue pads.

No one would give me a straight answer they kept telling me they were sold in pairs.

I didnt know if that meant wheel pair or pad pair.

I have brand new Pagid pads that i bought for my 84 that got parted out.
If they'll fit your 86(pretty sure they will) you can have them for $45 shipped or $40 picked up, i'm in Central NJ. LMK, just trying to save you some $$
