Default Throttle body clean, now whats this noise?

I took some things apart today so i could clean the throttle body. It was pretty dirty and i just wiped it down real good for about 30 min. There was also some oil in the inter cooler pipe that hooks up to the throttle body so i cleaned it up good with a dry towel. When i was done i took it out for a drive to see if there was any difference and i noticed a little bit of improvement in the acceleration. Nothing drastic but just a little smoother.

I did also notice a whistle sound everytime i was under boost. It didn't have that before, it sounds like its coming from the driver side part of the engine. I could hear the turbo before but never that high pitch whistling sound. Its a shot in the dark but do you guys have any idea what that is? Is it the air that goes in to the throttle body that makes that sound now that its clean? It only does it under boost.
Nothing im worried about, i actually like the sound but just curious of what it could be.

Thanks
Antonio

Does the boost build the same way as before? Have you noticed a lower boost pressure? Just curious if there may be a leak.

Nope, its just like before other then a little smoother acceleration above 3000rpm. The stock gauge reads the same and the boost kicks in around 2300-2500rpm.

I just rebuilt my Throttle body cuz I get a whistle every time I open the plate. After rebuild it still does it. Everything seems fine, I figure probably air rushing around the plate and I am not going to worry over it.

At certain settings my idle screw will cause kind of a whistle, seems to be a harmonic based on the air flow. Can't say that I've noticed it under boost, just at idle with the hood open. Any chance it got rotated a little while you were cleaning the TB?
