Anyone know how to re-seal a Saratoga top?

Just two weeks ago, another went on eBay for $350. The onlt difference was the seller called it a "glass top" rather than "saratoga".
BTW -- do you still need those photos? It's been raining mad over here, and I haven't had the chance take off my sunroof. It sounds like you found a good solution though -- and those seals will settle a little bit under the weight. I used 7/32 thickness and it seems a little too wimpy (minor leaks still).

I have a bronze (frameless) electric Saratoga. The seal appears to be in decent shape, and it does not leak. The roof rattles and has wind noise, but I figured that was just part of the deal.
However, it appears the roof is moving around and has actually chipped a bit of the paint in the roof opening.
For those of you with Saratogas and particularly those who have resealed them, is the seal supposed to extend around the sides of the glass on the frameless Saratoga roofs?
(sorry, it's dirty!)

Yes the seal on mine goes around the edge also.
Mine also has the original seal and it is in OK shape but it does whistle at high speeds on I95 but so far does not leak.
It looks like yours is dryrot and cracking but it did go around the edge.

whoever told the forum to use a home depot seal for the Saratoga does not own a Saratoga.
The seal is 321 877 209A VW seal. you need to buy two and use about 1 1/2 of the seals for the saratoga. this is the original seal but the producer of the saratoga was able to buy the seals from a dealer in custom lenghts.

This thread goes back over four years, and I no longer own the car nor the top in question. Nobody at the time had info on finding the proper seal. The Home Depot solution was not elegant, but it worked. Had I known how to get my hands on the proper seal, then I would have likely tried that.
