Fram/Purolator Air Filter Similarities?

Fram/Purolator Air Filter Similarities?
I know for fact these manufacturers do not produce air filter elements for the 944, or 951. Has anybody unboxed enough packaging to accidentally find an element in the same dimensions? Part numbers? I prefer safer, paper filters- over screen-door encased layers of bandaging.

Here in Des Moines Purolator had a factory that was purchased by MAHLE and I know they make all oil and air filters so Purolator is now Mahle. Or at least one can assume this.
