The ex had one of the first Cayman S stateside [pictured in avatar] which I really enjoyed driving--in fact I liked the Cayman more than the 996 and felt that it was more of a spiritual successor to the 993 despite the engine being in the "wrong" place, but I want something older. I also don't like convertibles so if I was looking for "just" a Pcar it would likely be a Cayman...but I need the rear seats for child seats. The only water cooled 911 I have thought about is a 996 Turbo, but that is too much money for me right now and I think the 944 Turbo would be a fun, older, "classic-er" Porsche
