n/a 944 gearing??

I thought you said you needed something like 450 RWHP with that setup in order to overcome the aerodynamic and ground drag to break the 200 mph barrier, or are you making that these days?

I'm actually envisioning something very similar - transplanting the 951 final drive and R&P into an n/a trans or the n/a 4th and 5th gears into a 951 trans. It'd be a helluva lot of work but ultimately worth it I think.

so in reality if my n/a 944 had enough power it would be able to hit 169 ???
