Forgot to mention, I spent 1.5k at a sit sponsor yesterday.

To help put that into perspective, that would put 83.5655 slackers in the red (punn intended) for an annual membership.

There's really only one way to properly address this post. And that's by the big dog himself, John D. You can find his response to such a thread as this by searching these forums. I don't remember when it was or where it is but his response was fair, as always.

Basically...

If you find value in Rennlist, support it.

Look dick,

Feel free to search my posts, simply click username, profile and view posts. Tell me exactly how many times I asked you for your opinion, let alone help. Seeings how I don't believe I have EVER started a post to ask a question, I feel that I am not using this community as a means of personal gain. IF you look, you'd see that 75% or better of my posts are giving help to others.

Quite frankly, I don't need this place and I come here to be helpful to others, poke fun at some, and ATTEMPT to find enjoyment. According to John, this site is not about the money, yet you feel it's your own personal crusade to go on a bashing spree in his name. And at this point I'm about to the point of saying f**k it, I've got better things to do with my time.

Make the damn site a pay site, I don't care. I simply won't come here anymore. Just like the OT forum, I could give a rat's *** what goes on in there.

Since I had a bit of time to think about it, I chose to start deleting any posts that I felt were helpful to others, therefore, my post count has been on the decline.

Maybe if I work on it, I can get back down to a suitable number that you membership ***** can appreciate.

I'm down in Wichita, so not a member of the KCWS. Maybe someday I'll have my car back on the road and try to make it up there sometime for a meet, as I think it would be cool.

Now I have to go delete more posts, so that the ***** will remain calm.

I bought a blow up sheep for a friend for his birthday, box included instructions like "If you use her on the edge of a cliff, she will push back harder"... I never got around to giving him his gift though, so its sitting on my desk for months!

I was helped once.. by one member and justified my membership with that.
I am a VW mechanic.. I have a couple of friends who know a bit about Porsche
but I have always found more effecient ways of fixing my cars through a
forum like Rennlist. They have already figured out all the tips and tricks to making a job faster. I share my wealth of knowledge about VW's with those who ask me on VWVortex. That is a non pay website and it tends to hold
alot of undesireable people.

I geuss my point is.. deleting your posts which are available to help others is
selfish.. possibly more selfish than just keeping quiet and ignoring those
that critisize(sp?) your membership status. Be the bigger man. If you feel
you have been wronged then just stop logging in.

Anyway.. Just my .02
