Question how to remove the electrical plugs at the fuel injectors?

This might be a trivial question, but I don't know how to do it without risking breaking it (I half-broke a similar connector once).
They have a U-shaped wire spring, and two tabs on the sides, but the tabs don't move when I try depressing them. Is there a trick?

use a small small screwdriver to disconnect the metal clip, then they come right off. We had a car come into the shop once where the guy broke all 4 of those connecters by not realizing they clipped in. Ouch!

Yep. Just pull the metal clips off and put them somewhere they won't get lost (or crushed) and pull outward on the connector, wiggling it a little. It should pop right off.

You can also remove he clips only halfway so that their two ends pinch the connector, but frees up he catch tab. Pull on the body of the connector to remove. DO NOT pull on the wire loop.
