Default What's the easiest way to get off clearcoat?

I'm stripping some paint, and need to know how to get through the clearcoat. Just a lot of sandpaper or what?

Seriously, what color? Some of the 944s do not have a clear coat - like the uber rare guards red.

use a DA sander and some 220 grit sandpaper. You can sit there and peel off paint layer by layer.

Don't cut through the galvanizing or your car will rust.
