My dad is having his garage done, they're starting tomorrow. Costing him 9 grand. I think he's in early Alzheimers doing this-he's retired, driving a big *** Caddy-one car in a two car garage, 14 feet ceilings. He's gone half the year in Palm Desert, so he's not even around much. He built the house in 1967, and hasn't touched the garage since then-it's got stuccoed walls, and is real clean. They quoted him 11, he talked them down (he's really good at that). I'm still in shock that he pulled the trigger.

I'd like him to send the guys over to my house to at least do my floor! I am having my driveway resealed this week. I've got a nice, detached two car garage that's all cinderblock, built like the proverbial ----box-but it needs to be cleaned, painted, and redone. It could be a showpiece if I got motivated and spent some $$$, but I've got other landscaping that needs to be done first. The garage is towards the top of my punchlist, but we're looking at a big addition, which will suck up cash quickly . . .

I looked at the garagetek stuff. Pretty slick system. I opted for a home made bench with racedeck flooring. Thanks for the excuse to re-port my pics. After 6 months, I still love it!
