EBay...$15-$25. Got mine for $10...hardly seems worth all the effort by the time she fits a zipper, edge binding, and loops for rolling it up. Just my opinion and I do upholstery myself.

Loops for rolling it up? I always wondered what those were, I assumed they were some sort of tie downs I need to go out and roll mine, it is folded now. Guess I learn something every day on Rennlist.

Yeah it rolls up and attaches to the two metal loops under your hatch pin area. Kind of a Pony Express look but it keeps it out of the way if you use it frequently.

Just went out in the garage and rolled mine up. I used the two outside straps to roll it, and the middle one to secure it through the middle loop in the hatch. I s that correct? Also, what are the two D-rings for on the other side?

I think I used all 3 loops, the 83 isn't here right now but I'll check later. I always wondered what the d-rings were for also...tying up the kids?

Let us know how it comes out, the logo part sounds pretty cool actually. I believe it's a special type vinyl with a soft liner, it's very pliable at all temps.

I think shes planning on some sort of tough waterproof stuff for the outside, and something inside that wont damage paint/wax. Ill post pics for sure

Yeh,

If you don't have a sunroof bag it could drive you crazy trying to figure out what those D rings on the rear hatch are. Not the best of designs but very fashion 80's

I don't think the stock design is all that great. Mine is a tight fit, and I almost pull the seal off every time I take it out of the bag. It's a bugger to get it into as well.

If she's a keen and competent seamstress, let her go crazy and design you a better one in the bargain. It would be nice to be able to get the sunroof in without having to lay the bag out on the ground and shimmy it in.
