My A/C compressor developed a leak, and I'm looking for a new or remanufactured unit to replace it. I can't seem to find anyone that has the Porsche part number 944-126-008-00, aka the Denso 471-0127 or 471-0128 in stock.
The dealer stopped offering them long ago, and folks like Pelican and FCP Euro cannot source them. I've bought a couple of remanufactured units on eBay only to have the seller cancel the order because they cannot source them. The only units I can find are the similar (but not exact?) Denso 10P15E. Does anyone have experience with these particular units, or know of a confirmed source for new or re-manufactured originals?
Hey @ried , contact @Jason - Paragon at Pargon-Products. His site is showing Remanufactured Denso units for sale and he's a very knowledgeable and trustworthy source of information. I've purchased many products from him over the years and have called him several times soliciting his advice.
Additionally, several years ago I had one rebuilt on my first 968. Unfortunately I do not have a resource, but a Porsche specific shop might?
