Headlight Issue
 

Bought a 87' 944 without headlights. Got a second hand set (motor included). Installed the set and ran into two problems:

• 25A fuse blows when connecting the connector to the motor;
• can't seem to find any connectors that connect to the headlights in that area, so I guess they were removed. I'm going to make a cable kit with two relays, since I read that the original setup isn't great. Where do I find the connector to turn on the relays?

I would suggest that you look up edredas on YouTube for his harness video. The relays are powered directly from the battery or the alternator, depending on where you want to set things up.

The headlight switch itself is then used to turn on the relays and activate the lights; it's pretty well explained in that video. I'll see if I can find it and link it here for you.
