I can't imagine a creaking sunroof would be any worse than a creaky f*cking hatch...

A possible way to cure a creaky hatch, assuming everything is aligned correctly in the first place. Go to the autostore and pic up some white lithium grease. Comes in a green can (atleast the brand i bought). Spray it on the two catches and into the two guide slots of the hatch. That cured my creaky hatch.

I never took into consideration that the panel was not flat, not sure how well my original plan would work now.

More importantly, and it has not yet been addressed, is that the glass is tempered auto safety glass that should not shatter in the event of an accident. Dont you think if they could be produced cheap enough to turn a good profit someone would be?

I love the idea but I dont see making these a whole lot cheaper than they already are.

Spray some silicone on the seals.

I'm keen for one, for the few non-stinking hot Melbourne days.
