Default Fixing one thing gives you the opportunity to fix more (rear hatch leak)

Well, in the "fix things on the 944S" category I decided to replace the rear hatch seal. Things have been leaking for awhile and the old seal was shot. So old one comes out, new one goes in, close the hatch and I see the passenger side glass is a little high. Yep, de-bonded from the frame. Great.

It's *another* thing to fix, and I'll stick some tape on the gap for now, but can one just squeeze some new sealant under that part and clamp it, or does the whole car have to come apart again? :-)

Rained pretty hard last night, no leak in the back so the tape is working for now. However I do have a leak in the front passenger floorboards. My guess is the door seal is bad as the front of it is wet and crud filled, I'll try replacing that. Hopefully the door won't then rip off :-)

For the Passenger side leak, check to see if your battery box has rusted thru. It's a common problem.

Solid under the battery, checked.
