Yes, it was the Matt Drendel car, from the estate of a prominent Porsche Collector, sold by Goodings? at Amelia Island Concours and Auction. It was basically a brand new, as delivered, 951 SilberRossa which if I remember correctly set the record for these cars at the time. Somewhere in the mid 80s with Buyer's Premium at hammer.

And the auction ended today with the Buyer obtaining a beautiful, low mileage early 951 for 74,000.
To be perfectly honest, if competing with it in Concours, will need to address the non original speakers cut in and a lot of detailing on the underside.
This car is certainly of merit to deal with that. Proving once again that great cars are continuing their rise within the Porsche collector group.
