I am putting the car back together after restoring all the back end bits and pieces and cant remember how the handbrake cable sits in this bracket on the rear beam, is the ferulle on the end of the cable meant to pop through the bracket and held by a clip ? or is it just the cable that slips in and the ferrule butts against the bracket ? although this way the boot doesn't cover the end of the ferrulle any pics or advice would be appreciated.
