Default right on center gauge

its a squiggly gold light in the black area of the center gauge no one know what it is. I just purchased it from a Porsche dealer and he trucked it to me about 2 hours, and so when I purchased the car there was no squiggly light but when they delivered it the light was there among other things, now the dealer was gracious enough to take the car back nd fix the other minor things but refuses to fix the gauge issue

Glow Plugs? How you got a glow plug light on a 944 is beyond me.
Did they make a diesel 924?

SeansTurbo, I have a feeling (just by looking at your dash photo) that your car isn't a 951 or other model of this subforum. Have a look at your manual and it will probably say what model the car is. Try posting in that forum and am sure you will get an answer.

I opened at thread on the 997 forum. Not much response yet but the two who did suggested a failing display.

Maybe a mod could move / merge the threads.

That looks like a Boxster display with a tiptronic transmission... but no Boxster turbos so might be a 996? A quick search on 996 speedometer display didn't bring up anything similar...

I dug around a little more and found a similar thread.
https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...d-display.html

Now maybe I should go back to that forum and ask about replacing the odo gear in my 944.
