I think you meant NASA spec 944, (not NARA). I was checking on the website to see if the car has any history running with them but could not find anything except a LOT of cool 944 Spec race cars!

(just hit the search button with no criteria and see them all!)

Yep the oil sender and, although the point it moot, the early car pans also didn’t have that circular casting in center of the pan, the fins went straight across uninterrupted.
