Default Wanted: Early Air Flow Meter (AFM) or do I?

Or do I want to get a late AFM and late DME computer?
What is the current thinking when facing an early AFM replacement?
Thanks
Hal

there are only 2 reasons to swap for late DME/AFM combo:
- to get rid of the "drop-throttle shudder"
- to have the ability to fit a performance chip (including MAF conversion).
