3rd brake light inverse behavior
Just in case anyone has this issue...
My 3rd brake light was acting weirdly. It was on when the brakes were not depressed, and turned off when the other two lights came on as the pedal was depressed. I also noticed that my rear window wiper had stopped functioning.
I figured it was a ground issue, and I was correct. When I was mucking around in the back near the sunroof mechanism, there is a little round connector with 4 wires going into it.
I had unplugged that connector to do my work back there, and when I plugged it back together, the brown ground wire got shoved out of the back of the connector. Pushed it back in to make the proper connection and the brake light started working properly and the wiper started working again.
Just putting this here in case anyone else has similar symptoms in the future.
