This happened to me a week ago...and I found the cylinders to be badly gaulled, with number four doing the coup de gras - it was so stuck that a breaker bar, working backwards, with the head off (ahh...now we could see what was happening) is what it took.

I had something similar when I had issues with my sensors... Anyway, long story short, one of the flywheel sensors was moved down, and caught the flywheel due to mal-adjustment (my bad) and it sheared off the sensor, and jammed it between the flywheel and the bellhousing, thus making it so the engine didn't turn at ALL. Check that out.

Guys,
thanks so far for your help! Today I took off the camshaft (all valves look OK) and starter engine, but not any movement of the cranck.. so tomorrow taking of the head..
When I tried to turn the engine by hand counterclockwise I loosened the big bolt which holds the pulley of the power steering. I noticed some freeplay in the main timingbelt pulley (up and down). Is this normal? And is there any other way to turn counter clockwise with this bolt off? It might loosen things up
Further I am absolutly sure nothing fell into the holes of the bellhousing.
Any ideas are welcome.
Cheers, Erik

Use a very large screw driver or pry bar at the teeth on the fly wheel.
Still it looks like a tear down.

yahoo! Today I earned $5! Still $9995 to go and I can buy another 951 and burn mine up.
I took out the sensors and they were in one piece, not even scratched. Hoped ofcourse that this was the problem, but I expect the worst now..
Pull off the head tonight, so if you hear a big scream through the night, its me.
Cheers,
Erik

I find it hard to seize up a motor just by cranking the engine via starter Normally, it will seize in both direction when something came apart inside the bell housing and jammed the flywheel or due to lack of lubrication at high rpms. Just out of curiosity, did anything drop into the inspection hole for the timing mark while you were playing with the sensors? Maybe something got jammed in there while cranking with the starter. I can't think of too many other things that would seize the motor when it was not even running to start with.
