Dash Warning Lights Stay On

Just got my 1988 NA 944 back on the road after changing the timing belt, rollers, water pump, balance shaft belt, hoses, and the accessory drive belts. All good, but on my second lap around the block the "!" lit up along with the all warning lights. Went home, checked everything, and nothing was amiss. Oil level and pressure is good, brake fluid level is fine, brake pads have plenty of thickness. Volt meter shows a little under 14 volts. Cleaned the battery terminals, and checked all the connections on the back of the gauge cluster (fixed the odometer recently)- still have the warning lights on.

The car had been sitting since December, but the battery is relatively new from what I can tell.

Any ideas? Alternator? Alternator belt too loose? I do get an occasional belt squeal on startup. Pic below is on startup after sitting for a few hours.

Did you ever find a solution for this? I would suspect a possible loose ground

I haven't had a chance to check the grounds, but I do suspect a bad oil pressure sending unit. The other lights would go off, but the low pressure light would stay lit. Got a new on on the way to install this weekend, and I'll look for a loose ground too.

Check the harness to oil press sender 30+ yrs insulation get brittle n since you moved them around it might be grounding out...
