Default 924 Carrera Seat restoration

I purchased a 924 Carrera GT a few months ago and am getting caught up on a few projects that needed to be done. One of the things I have left is the front seats. They are getting tired. They need new foam and covers. Are there some good shops anyone knows of that can do this. The Carrera GTs has the black with red/orange stripes in a velour texture so not quite "off the self" replacement. Thanks.

Check with “Heritage Custom Trim” located in the NW. They did the seats on my car - ask for Tony, he’s the owner. Very happy with the results, check it out.

werk924.com

Original materials as well as good replica materials available.
Not sure if they still have the original material. I remember buying about the last meters when I restored mine.
Anyway, since its a rare car be ready to pay premium.

Here are mine, restored this year.

Did a search and found Heritage trim with offices in Palm Springs and Vancouver. I have tried calling - only get an answering machine. Left messages with no response. Tried their email without response.

Any other ideas.

Can you diss and re-assemble the seat covers yourself?
If so, send them over even to Europe for a clone.
Did you secure your original material? If not, you should really hurry as there is not much left..if any.
Have a chat with the guy from werk924.com I bought my material from him.
Restoring my seats was a few K but well worth it

Installing seat covers yourself without having the right tools, and not having the experience will be very difficult at best. I've tried before and gave up. The risk of damaging the covers was too high. Better to pay a professional to do the job right and getting the results you desire.

Agreed. I am not that facile. Also, the side bolsters need to be re-stuffed, etc. Not something I would feel comfortable doing myself.

SLM, if you want to get a general idea of how Recaro sport seats are constructed, take a look at my web article here:

https://newhillgarage.com/2017/02/19...at-upholstery/

I bought my material from werk924.

A recognized expert for what you want to do is Rob Budd at Classic9 Leathershop.
