Default Changing washer pump in '88 944 Turbo S

The windshield washer pump in my '88 944 Turbo S is not working. I want to replace the pump but so far I haven't found instructions as to how to do it in the Clark's Garage or in the factory Workshop Manual. My main doubt is whether it's easier to lift the tank upwards to access the pump or to get to it from underneath the car.

Any input will be greatly appreciated!

I don't have an answer for you, but I can tell you that the washer tank is a very odd shape and you have to take a lot out to remove it...

I know it's not a quick job even if it looks silly on paper! That's why I'm looking for advice from anyone who's been there before
