YES!!!!! So glad it is coming back to Nelson's!! Count me in coming just Porsche-less currently. I have been on the track quite a few times and even been an instructor there, world of difference compared to the way it was.

For anyone that is within driving distance, I can tell you that it is worth the drive even if you just hang out and check out all the cars!

I might actually be able to finally make it to the fest. The past years for 944 Fest at Nelson the dates were when my son had Scout camp.

Lets get this thread back to the top! I've been meeting with the NORPCA folks, (it is their track weekend after all) and it looks like we'll be on-track Friday August 3rd with special 944Fest run groups, then go for a drive Saturday (perhaps to a very fast go cart track in the vicinity). There will be a car show, door prizes, meals and kegs. For the more track oriented guest the PCA will be running at Nelsons all weekend and 944Fest guests will be able to opt for a all-weekend track package from them. Start prepping now, get the cars together (!!) and get the time off work. It is just 4 months away! Registration information will be coming soon!

Are 924s allowed? This could be a fun first roadtrip when I get my turbo running.

Can you drink beer and act like a fool (not necessarily at the same time)?

You guys were acting? We were Hoons before hooning was invented. Of course 924s are welcome. All front engine Porsches from the 70's, 80's and 90's will be ogled.
