Default How can I get rid of the discoloration remaining after wet sanding

I wetsanded a few areas on this door and as you can see the wetsanding has left discoloration spots.

I sprayed water to clean it off but once dry the discoloration remains.

How can I get rid of this?

I believe that was a joke sir. What grit did you use? if you used anything less than 2k, it's very possible that you went straight through the clear, in which case, your only solution is new paint. Also, what kind of car is that? Definitely not a Porsche haha

It's currently in product review testing. This is a picture of the test vehicle where you can see we've treated the hood with the Patina Wax and it looks great while the rest of the car has turned an ugly blue color.

I used 1500 grit on flat black single stage (no clear coat) on a 2006 ram 1500

Would dry sanding with 1500 get rid of this crud?

Why not just hit it with more flat black single stage? What are you trying to do, gloss up flat black paint? Painting is easier than sanding (said the previous owner of your truck).

Is "dumpster paint" a thing?

Because I'm out of paint and it's ~$100/gallon

Just the bed itself is going to be ~$100 so then I might as well buy another gallon of paint

Can't you have a smaller amount mixed?

What's up with the steel wheels? Where did you get those?
