Default Early sport seats 84 N/A

I'm having problems with separating the seat back from the bottom, the cable removal is the problem, I want to remove the leather from the sport seats and cannot figure out how to remove the cable.

Yeah, that drove me crazy the first time I tried it. It turns out you need to tackle the other end, up at the release lever. Might be easier to call me to discuss (919-604-2188) but the general idea is to fold the seat forward to put some slack in the cable, remove the release handle and the coverplate. The end of the cable is articulated such that you can get it with a pair of needlenose pliers and get it released from the lever. It will make more sense when you get in there. I never could see an elegant way to release the bottom end of the cable.

Harveyf, Thanks, I will give you a call after lunch, thanks for the reply, your idea about folding the seats for slack in the cable will probably work, I just thought I was not seeing the bottom clip well enough.
