I fared well too and I feel blessed. Last year I wasn't as fortunate as my house flooded during the tax day floods and I also had significant water in my garage, thankfully I didn't have a drop during Harvey.

They're the real MVP

I contacted them yesterday and offered to help out with mechanical/EFI/electrical repairs on their fleet and airboats, which have been running in non-ideal conditions all week. They're all self-funded. I heard back later that day and am officially supporting them this week out of my garage and with my Subie loaded with tools. So far it's just been a fuel flooded motor. Trying to get some other car guys to help out, if they're able.

I'm on the Heights, didn't flood. Amazing how people from everywhere is helping, I'll sign up for night shift or help with a church knocking on doors over the weekend because there are already too many volunteers.

My brother in law is a veterinarian and he is coming from Austin to help with the animals.

My wife and I have donated to help those less lucky .We wonder how these donations are shared with the locals. Our local fire dept. has been collecting items that are being driven down by a local police officer. Are you getting this help?
