I like them, and test drove one a couple years ago. unfortunately, they are too small for my 6'3" frame. My knees were pressed against the dash with the seat all the way back. I fit in the 944 so I guess I'll keep mine

Don't mind me...just wandering around the 944 boards doing some research for a potential purchase...this thread caught my eye...

I've owned both (a BRZ and a 944). Too many years between owning them to do a good comparison, suffice to say I loved them both.

To be more accurate on the BRZ, I'd say 70% love, 20% like, and 10% hate. Perfect seating position. Excellent handling, especially if you update the tires (felt similar to my Cayman S in the twisties). Looked great in black. I didn't own it long enough, but I'd count on the reliability over time as well. My only gripe was it wasn't a good long distance cruiser...at least not for this 47 year old.

The 944 I remember as feeling a better quality, although my service records didn't necessarily agree with that assessment. I owned it for 5 years (1993-1998), between 44k and 150k miles. I paid as much in service and maintenance over the five years as I did for the car originally ($12.5k). And the 944 did leave me for dead more than once. Still...there was love...

If I had to chose one over the other, it would come down to how I'd be using it. Daily driver? ..BRZ. Toy? ..944.

...and right now I'm shopping for a toy.
