I had a friend tell me about WPC treatment tonight and I was wondering if anyone here has treated their rod or main bearings (or any other parts) with the WPC micro-peening process?
I understand the general physics of how it reduces frictions and holds onto oil better, but I'm wanting to know if it's worth the cost ($4-$6 per half I believe). I'm rebuilding my engine from a bad rod bearing, and since I'll be replacing the bearings anyways, now would be the time to consider this.
