Well, I hit major stop and go traffic
Apparently my fans don't kick on until it is too late. Car overheated.... Now I am waiting for rush hour to end and I'm hoping I didn't hurt the engine.

On a funny aside...
After I filled the tank before the trip, I reset the trip odometer. Since then, I have now traveled 4 miles according to the odometer and the trip has stopped working.
My butt says I drove more than 4 miles!

Ok, stupid question:. Is there supposed to be a rubber plug where the mixture adjustment screw is? And, if so, is the lack of one there causing my having to run rich to run? I.e. is this causing a vacuum leak?

Just double checking. Haven't found any source of vac leak. Pressure is correct, timing correct. Have to run rich or it breaks up constantly at 3800rpm in every gear. Injectors are new, tank is clean, fuel filter had very little in it.
This thing has me scratching my head.

Three Wheelin'
Do an injector flow and pattern test.
Pull out the injectors, place them in bottles, jump the fuel pump so it runs continuously and operate the AF plate, the injectors should spray a very fine mist of fuel in a conical shape and when you're done all injectors should have sprayed an equal amount of fuel.
Also, no leaks with no plate operation are allowed.
If you have big differences in fuel amounts swap over injectors between them and re-test...if you get the same line feeding less fuel then its a dizzy problem.

Nice conical spray from all injectors. I'm starting to think that the pump just can't supply enough fuel at rpm. It runs rich at low RPM, but seems to lean way out under load above 3700rpm. Perhaps a worn out ignition distributor?
