Default 924 coolant expansion tank alternative?

Hi so my tank decided to crack and start squirting coolant last night and i put some jb weld as a temp fix so i could make it home. Now i did a search and it turns out these tanks are prone to cracking at the dimple, which is where mine cracked. I looked for a replacement and have not found any. But I see a lot of 944 tanks available, can I use one of those? Or is there another easy to find car that I could possibly pull the tank from?

According to ideola you can't fit a 944 tank to an NA 924.

But it's just a coolant tank - you can use anything from any car as long as the hoses hook up and you can mount it to the car somehow.

Are you in the UK?

It was originally a larger Header tank already made, which was cut to reduce the size, welded up then powdercoated.

It's angled down and has a 35 degree metal pipe in the middle before more hose to the rad.

All done to keep it out the way and area where the Inlet I had hoped would come in straight from the vented badge panel and straight into the TB and then modified neck Inlet manifold.

The original plan was to go with a Programmable ECU / AFM Delete / MAP system / Wasted spark etc.. from a UK company who were going to install it all and map it!

But this relationship got ugly, so I got out asap and went to a proper Engine tuner, builder and Mapper instead as you know they insisted on me using all the stock Bosch ECU / Fueling and Ignition.
