924 turbo was manufactured until 83 if you lived in Italy or 82 in Europe...if your 924 was made in 87 its a 2.5L NA not a turbo.

Ive owned and rebuilt many 944s , 968s . and 2,0 924 turbo cars.

I was stating Im build a 924 S turbo meaning im doing another conversion using a complete turbo S drive line . I ve chosen the late 87 924 chassis due to the pickup points needed for the front suspension install , thus the early cars dont have the same front attachments points for the sub frame, also i didnt want to cut up an early 924 turbo car.

( I'm never in a hurry to get it out the door , when im happy she can leave ) . Im most excited about our 924 turbo build , due to the fact it's a father and son car, we are planning mixing the old with the new.

The 2.0 engine is a fun little car to drive but the the 2.5 transplant is allot more fun , i do like the way the 924 spools up and feels while driving but , the feel of my 88 Ts is the feel i want for our 924 Build
