I have bought a throttle response cam from only994.com for my 1988 924S. Has anyone installed this on his car ? Does it feel much faster as I have read , any negatives ?

car isn't any "faster" but it certainly feels more responsive since the ratio of pedal movement vs throttle blade movement is now linear...with the OEM throttle cam it is "progressive" so it opens very little until you really bury the pedal.

Linear cam...like hard-wiring a virtual "sport" mode for throttle response.

The install is pretty straight forward. I think there are instructions on the only944 page, but not really needed. Only thing tricky is you might have to adjust the cable a bit.

Best think I have done in my 924S , cars is more responsive, no issues at slow speeds or anything, better feel on accelleration , much better I should stress , everyone running a 924S/944 should do this little cheap mod !!!
