Right now the heater only works on high. I think it may be connected directly with the square connectors in the back that is wrapped in green. I am trying to get the switch to work, so I can adjust to different speeds. The orange wire is coming from the driver side, so I would think from the fuse box. Then this brown wire is joined together, but I was able to plug it in. I think it's the wire that sends the signal to the blower to slow down.
I think I got the correct wires for the heater switch. Not sure if I have the orange and brown connected to the proper connector.

So it looks like the black and red wire is the power wire for the blower motor. Right now it's connected directly to the blower, bi-passing the switch. The blower motor wire is blue. I was hoping I could disconnect the square connector and then connect the two wires to the switch. I can disconnect the black/red wire, but the blue one is hard wired to the square connector. I don't want to disconnect the blue wire before I know if the 2 wires should be connected to the switch, and I'm not sure which where goes where. I am not sure if the wiring is 924 original. I think there are some 944 parts in my car.
I need help wiring the heater switch. Would the black/red wire go on 1, and then blue on 2?
