1987 924S -Moving must sell, priced accordingly.
Hi Guys,
Unfortunately I have to sell my 924S because I am moving in less than a month. I bought the car a few years ago for $1800 off a member here, and hope that someone here will pick it up and bring it to a good home. See follow up post for pictures. Pictures show some sap I couldnt get off, it has some dings and dents but is generally straight and in decent shape cosmetically.
Just put a new Bosch battery in it and it fired right up. It had been sitting for about a year. Video of it running here:
I replaced all the wheel bearings except the rear left, I never got to it. New rotors from Pelican parts, new plugs and various odds and ends. Have a few spare parts including tools that will go with the car [Arnworx bearing tool].
Asking 1500. Car runs and drives. Goes through all the gears, but 1-2 shift and 3-2 shift is a bit hard to do, linkage may need adjustment. However, since it has been sitting picking it up with a trailer is highly recommended. Drive home at your own risk.
Also accepting reasonable offers.
