Quality of ride - shocks question
Hey gang - i have a question about how my 924S should feel like when driving.
Can somebody tell me what the ride is supposed to feel like in terms of how smooth it is over the bumps and potholes? I find that my car is very stiff and rather harsh on bumps and road imperfections. Is this normal for this car? I spoke to my mechanic [who specializes in Porsche's] and he said that is how they drive. Is there any way to smooth it out a bit so its not so jarring on imperfect roads? Maybe new shocks? I know it's not a Cadillac so I am not expecting super smooth but I would like to make it a more enjoyable experience when going over rough roads.

Mine is pretty bad on bad roads which I am pretty sure is because of the totally-shot rear suspension bushings.
You definitely feel the jolts more when the back goes over something.
I will be replacing the worn-out bushings in 2 weeks and seeing how it feels, then sometime after that doing rear shocks since mine are ~9 years old now.
