Just Changed my front hood shocks on my 924S
Hey everybody -
Just changed my front hood shocks on my 924 S and I though I would give a tip. The old shocks were worn out and were no longer holding up the hood. I used my camera tripod to hold up the hood while i was changing the old shocks out. The benefit of using the tripod was that it has adjustable telescopic legs which allowed me to raised the hood enough to put the new shocks right on. I did not have to compress the shocks at all. If you buy the correct shocks for your car they should just slide right in. The new ones are Stabilus brand.
