Hatch air shocks.

Hatch air shocks.
Need new shocks for my 924S rear hatch. I'm looking on pelican and there is only an option for hood shocks. Are they the same as what is required for the hatch?

Hood=front
Rear lid, decklid or Hatch=rear
..and, the usual outcome if you install new rear hatch shocks is separation of the metal frame to the glass.

I guess I'll keep looking for parts cars then. Thanks for the tip. And one other hatch related thing. One of my hinges squeaks every time I hit a bump on the road. (There are a lot of these in Winnipeg). It doesn't squeak when I open the hatch though. I've tried oiling it but it doesn't seem to make a difference. How would I go about replacing the hinge? I haven't seen them on pelican.

You could check for correct fit or oil:

Somewhere I saw Stainless steel replacements ???
Another part that is replaced is the Hatch Pin seats. Buy from the creator:

Before replacing the hatch pins, get the pin seats from only944 and see if that quiets the rattles (it did on my 951).
If you search around for 924 hatch shocks you should be able to find some posts with lighterweight replacements available online or at the local parts house.
