New Product line for all early 924 torque tubes!
Just wanted to announce our new product line for all early (pre-1984) 924 Porsches.
Back story is two customers recently ordered our 924/944 Super Bearings for use in their 1977 924 project cars. Both reported back that their drive shaft only measured 20mm (!) and not 25mm which we took for granted had been used in all MY 924/944 variants.
With their agreement to wait a bit, we went ahead and made new molds for new inner rubber inserts to fit the 20mm drive shafts. Both customers have reported back that the new inserts worked perfectly for their torque tube rebuilds.
Below is a picture showing the new early MY 924 Super Bearing on the left next to the standard later MY 924/944. Difference between the inserts is noticeable.
So now all early 924 owners have another product to help keep their Porsches on the road!
