I'm also having starting problems that began right after I had a new radio installed. I'm going to have to check the install ont now as I'm sure they spliced into some of the electrical lines. That said, what is so sensitive in the DME or computer or whatever the brain in a 924S is called that it kills the car when you tap the keyed power wire? ? ? ? ? I'll keep you posted if I come up with anything on mine.

You should change the DME itself. You can get a used one from ebay for a good price.
