My father had a 924S when I was a child and I remember detailing it for him every weekend. It was beautiful: white, phone dial wheels, 924S decal on the rear deck.

The one difference with his car and so many others is that the interior was updated more than the 924Ss that are on line for sale. He had a four spoke steering wheel and an interior that looked similar to a 944.

Was that an 88 924s? or did they make that in 87.5?

Someday I'd like to own that exact car just for fun.

All of the 924s's had the early interior from the factory. The 4 spoke can be put in the car (mine had one when i got it), however if your dad's car had the late dash that means someone swapped it in.
